Description

The members of our family have been passing down a great passion from father to son: growing grapes in the vineyards of the picturesque area of the Morainal hills, making the most out of its very fertile soil and its favourable weather. The on going investments in new technologies, the careful selection of grapes and the respect for traditions witness our commitment in further researching and developing our products with the aim of providing top quality goods. The whole wine producing process, which is continuously supervised and surveyed by the family, starts in the wine cellar where grapes are processed into wine and sparkling white wines and ends in the refinement phase in wooden barrels. Our products are unique and express a perfect balance of smells and tastes in full respect of traditions.

Thirty-eight hectares of vineyards cultivated according to the most modern technologies and yet while respecting the rhythm of nature. The whole territory offers a great potential because of the components of its soil and of the favourable climatic conditions. As a result our wines are top quality and have a unique taste. Experience is our knowledge and the rhythm of nature is our best trainer.

Innovation has been the best key word to describe the developments of our company, always striving for growth and improvements. All the buildings were renovated in a chronological order, on a rotary principle thus following the different production phases.

The processing phases are well organized and highly specialized on the very kind of product to be processed. They take place in a plant equipped with the best technologies: Pneumatic presses for soft pressing, pumps, pip removers, fermentation tanks, vats with a cooling system to control temperature in every step of the fermentation process, automated and computer driven system for pumping over, for the cap casse, for the macerated mass of red grapes and for filters to clean musts.

Wines are then decanted and stored in big vats for maturation before bottling.

The complete maturation of wines and the second fermentation of sparkling white wines according to the classic method take place in our underground cellars, where all the steps leading to the storing of the bottles are taken care of in each detail.

A new room is being used as a cellar for oak barrels, where wine refinement occurs in wooden barrels, in a strictly controlled environment.

The whole production cycle up to the bottling phase occurs in the company itself thus granting best quality products.

Our costumers can taste our wines and learn more about the production processes in specially provided rooms. In a friendly and comfortable atmosphere our costumers can take their time and choose the product they want to buy, directly in the company.

Our wine selection is the result of a long lasting experience in this sector, of a deep knowledge of the territory, its soil, of the grapes, of the smells and the natural rhythms of the surrounding environment.

The advanced technologies we use are aimed at improving our quality more and more. Nevertheless they allow us to be "ethical" in our production system since we respect nature and its timing. It is therefore essential to us to follow directly every step of the production cycle: from skin contacts to batonnage, from yeasts to aroma and when choosing the best oak barrels to keep the wine in.
