In the 'Parco della memoria' of San Pietro Infine (a national treasure 10 Kms from the Abbey of Monte Cassino), an historic and important mansion of the seventeenth century has been restored with maximum respect for its important position and transformed into a new hotel. Cav. Adriano Vecchiarino has turned the mansion into a modern resort with twelve rooms of which four are suites; all fixtures and fittings are of the highest quality and offering every modern comfort.
The hotel's charm pervades all twelve bedrooms. The indispensable modern comforts of fully serviced spacious bathrooms, radio and colour TV, direct line telephone for external calls, air conditioning with individual hot or cold air, mini bar, hair dryer, free broadband access, double soft or firm cushions and warm lighting all integrate well with the authentic antique furnishings, the exposed timber ceilings and comfortable beds. The lovely 17th century room and the junior suite with its intimate living room and studio fitted with pieces from the 1800s stand out and both open onto a spacious terrace.
In fact 'La Terrazza sulla Storia' coddles its guests through the splendour of the day and the tranquillity of the night such that they will rediscover a truly warm welcome. We are pleased to accent the fact that every room is dedicated to and actor or director from the golden period of Italian cinema.
