Sant'Arsenio

Description

Sant'Arsenio is an ancient town in the Province of Salerno that was founded in the Middle Ages by refugees who gathered around a monastery dedicated to Sant'Arsenio.
Located in the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park, it is a very pleasant touristic location, due to its mild climate.
The brigand Giovanbattista Vericella, well-known as "Tittariello", lived here in the period between 1630-1648, inspiring many legends and folkloristic manifestations.
A relaxing excursion of the Mount Carmelo will show you an amazing view of the valley.
