Description

Villa Armena Relais is a luxury resort located in the very heart of the Crete Senesi area, between suggestive landscapes of rare beauty and the unique atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside. It is born from a careful and meticulous restoration of an old Renaissance residence, built by the architect Baldassarre Peruzzi in the XVI century and owned by the Malavolti, a wealthy family from Siena. It is a charming boutique hotel that offers its guests an unique experience, mixing together history, warm welcome, excellent gastronomy and wellness.

The structure is surrounded by a beautiful Italian garden, dominated by several types of green (the silvery green of the olive trees, the dark green of the cypresses and the alive green of the pines) and lush and heady fragranced rose gardens. An holiday at Villa Armena Relais will be a sensory experience that allow you to discover the pleasure of the authentic contact with nature, walking along the Garden of Perfumes or the Ancient Fruit Area.

The common areas and rooms of Villa Armena Relais are the idea combination between elegance, sophistication and comfort, always respecting the architectural features of this XVI century noble residence. Massive wooden beams, valuable terracotta tiles, wrought iron and precious fabrics will recreate a charming atmosphere of antique flavor, transporting visitors back to time, to Renaissance period.
The newest outdoor swimming pool creates a harmonious effect with the surrounding greenery. Guests of Villa Armena Relais can spend relaxing moments admiring the wonderful landscape of Crete Senesi, sipping a glass of Brunello wine.

At the restaurant "Il Sorbo Allegro" (the Merry Rowan), guests of Villa Armena Relais can enjoy the authentic and genuine flavor of our dishes, prepared only using fresh and local ingredients, supporting Km0 and Slow Food produce. The wine list, indeed, gives attention to the small Italian vineries, preferring quality to quantity.

The wide open spaces, the beautiful garden and the magic of these places will give an exclusive touch to your wedding: our wedding planner will help you to better organize your most important day!

Villa Armena Relais is waiting for you in the picturesque Medieval village of Buonconvento, in the charming Crete Senesi area, a short distance from Siena, Montalcino and the Val d'Orcia.
