Boris Skerk and his family, according to an old understanding between man and nature and a deep sense of belonging to the territory, are strongly devoted to the cultivation of the various species of high-density vines. Taking advantage of the old-fashioned techniques of vine producing, they are oriented towards the cultivation of native varieties such as the Teran, Vitovska and Malvasia. Over the centuries these varieties have proved to be particularly suited to the micro-climate and soils in this area. Indeed extraordinary results are obtained.
The vineyard has existed in the Karst area for centuries. It is for this reason that the people and places surrounding this area are particularly attached to this land.
Thanks to the progressive improvement of the vineyard, to the wise selection of grapes and a careful wine production in the cellar, which is carefully dug in the limestone and is therefore able to assure the right balance between humidity and temperature, such wines are of the highest quality and have an original and unique personality.
The high-quality grapes, picked from rows exposed to sun-light, give these wines a remarkable personality according to soil and climate conditions.
