Welcome to Montespertoli and to the small 'Borgo' of the Montalbino Holiday Farmhouse.
Along the Montespertoli Wine Road and only 25 km away from Florence, the Montalbino Holiday Farmhouse presents its guests with a holiday that combines the atmosphere of a classic Tuscan farm surrounded by 90 hectares of land, with vineyards, olive groves and a "Cinta senese" pig farm, and the total comfort of 8 apartments and 2 double rooms, deriving from the clever restoration of countryside houses dating back to the late 19th century.
As they arrive at the Borgo, visitors are enchanted by its peace and tranquility, by the well-tended buildings and garden and by the high-quality restoration of the complex.
The complex is made up of several buildings, some made of stone like the former barn, others plastered in pastel colors.
The small Borgo includes private gardens that surround the apartments, a wonderful common garden with olive trees, and two swimming pools, one of which with whirlpool, besides barbecue equipment, a charming terrace, and various other facilities, like a wide private parking area reserved for the guests of the small Borgo.
Each apartment has distinctive features and is different from the others, the interiors follow the style of the typical farmhouses scattered through the Tuscan countryside, with bricks, visible wooden beams, terracotta and stone details and decorations.
The interior ornaments are made of wood and wrought iron, the furniture is in solid wood, and the mattresses are orthopedic.
The Montalbino Holiday Farmhouse also boasts the La Lombricaia Restaurant, open to the guests of the small Borgo, with typical Tuscan cuisine, products from the farm and a large selection of mouth-watering homemade desserts.
At La Lombricaia, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in a wonderful countryside cottage with a wide bow window offering a stunning view.
At the shop of the Borgo guests can buy products from our Farm, such as wine, oil, truffles, and cured meats, as well as a wide range of products from other local Farms, such as cheeses, wines from other winemakers, jams, sauces, and handmade pottery.
