Azienda Agricola Campochiarenti is a farm located near San Gimignano in the Province of Siena, that produces and bottles traditional tuscans wines.
The actual owners bought it in 1977 renewing and restoring all the buildings used to produce wine. The edifices near Saint Nicholas church were converted in apartments used as farmhouse for rent.
Azienda Agricola Campochiarenti produces, bottles and sells wines and oil that come from its plants, placed around San Gimignano and Poggibonsi.
The vines are managed to obtain the healthiest products and to assure a good aging in order to increase the quality of the wines although reducing the quantity produced.
The main varieties used are:
Sangiovese (Janus 10, VCR 102, VCR 5, Tin 10, Tin 39, Tin 50, R 10, R24, P1, etc.), Colorino, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo, Mammolo, Foglia Tonda, Ancellotta, Rebo, Malvasia Nera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Nero, Pinot Grigio.
