"Raito, salus infirmorum" - (Raito, health for the sick)
These are the words set on the ceramic panel, located at the entrance of the road that leads to Raito, a hamlet of the town of Vietri sul Mare, perched, like a gem, between the intense blue of the sea and the green of the lemon treed terraces.
At the entrance of the hamlet you can find the complex of Villa Guariglia, donated by the Ambassador of Italy, Mr Raffaele Guariglia, to the Province of Salerno. Today it houses the Museum of the Ceramics from Vietri sul Mare.
The picturesque XV century church of Santa Maria delle Grazie worth a visit.
