The Farm covers 30 hectares of land, of which five are given over to mixed crops, five to olive groves and twenty to vineyards, and lies in the municipality of Bevagna on the hillsides of Arquata and Colcimino, an area renowned since antiquity for the high quality of its oil and wine.
Around the year 50 Anno Domini, in fact, Pliny the Elder wrote the following about the Itriola grape, typical of Bevagna, the ancient Mevania of the Umbrians, the Etruscans and the Romans: "Itriola Umbriae Mevanatique Agro Peculiaris Est". - 1960 saw the start of the renovation works to the old convent of the Philippine friars, which stands on ruins dating back to the Roman age and to the late Renaissance, as well as the re-planting of the old vineyards and the planting of new ones.
Today the winery is equipped with all the latest technological innovations and has selected vineyards of Grechetto and Sagrantino (native species of vine), Barbera, Cabernet, Chardonnay, Merlot, Sangiovese and others. It produces wine, grappa and extra-virgin olive oil, about 30% of which is exported to Europe, the U.S.A., Canada and Japan.
