Serrara Fontana is the smallest and the highest town of the isle of Ischia; it has preserved its typical architecture and the economy is especially based on agriculture.

Not to be missed is an excursion on a mule to Epomeo Mount, mythological and legendary giant that dominates the coast below and offers a breathtaking views over the Gulf of Naples. Many natural beauties are concentrated on the coastline of Serrara Fontana: Sant'Angelo, Cava Grado, the Maronti, the Fumaroles, Cavascura spring and the thermal baths, the small square. Sant'Angelo is a tiny fishing village with a fabulous atmosphere.
