Fardella
Description
Small town in the province of Potenza, situated in the valley of the river Sinni in the heart of the Pollino National Park. The name of Fardella, according to the most accepted theory, is believed to derive from the name of the wife of Lord Luigi Sanseverino, Maria Fardella. Situated in a sheltered hillside, surrounded by thick forests and lush vegetation, today it is an excellent holiday resort.
Not to miss:
- the Parish Church dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua, built in the early XVIII century and rebuilt several times because of the movement of the terrain in which the building has its foundations. Inside it contains fine art masterpieces such as a series of XIX century wooden statues and an XVIII century holy water font;

- the Chapel of St. Vitus;
