Description

What once was a born, has been transformed into a cozy, sunny environment aimed at providing a comfortable stay for our guest, be they couples, families or groups.

Agritourism at Sinaglio offers its guests horseback riding (upon reservation), and many hiking paths through the vineyards, while enjoying a splendid view of the surrounding hills. For many generations, Sinaglio Estates have grown grapes and made wine, therefore, no stay would be complete vithout a guided tour of the winery including tasting of all our wines.

In our cellars, we produce and age D.o.c. and D.o.c.g. wines such as: Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba, Nebbiolo d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Sinaij, Chardonnay, Moscato and Passito. All are obtained from grapes grown on the slopes of the Bric Maiolica hill.

Tasting of our wines is accompanied by sampling of a variety of cheeses and cured meets typical of the region. While immersed in history, nature and a warm and friendly environment, our guests can enjoy a variety of sports, exceptional high-cuisine, as well as antiquing and shopping, all reachable in a few minutes by car in the town of Alba.

The company San Romano was born in the early nineties in the heart of the hills of Dogliani, starting a progressive and steady re-qualification of old vineyards, about three hectares, through the recovery of whatever was acquired in semi-abandoned conditions at that time. Since the beginning, the first part of the cellar for vinification was built, while in the following years, the already existing vineyards were restructured and new Dolcetto vines were planted.

Starting from the mid-nineties, San Romano has collaborated with oenologist Beppe Caviola, an important figure in the national oenological panorama..

Today, the San Romano estate amounts to about 8.5 hectares of vineyards, two thirds of which are Dolcetto, the most popular grape variety in the Langa area. Since the beginning up to now, the San Romano cellar has constantly grown, driven by a distinctive, high quality project.

Production is exclusively based on the local Dolcetto di Dogliani, a pleasant, fruity, easy to drink wine according to collective imagination, tradition and satisfied expectations of consumers, be they experts, amateurs or occasional drinkers. .

The main representative of this interpretation that San Romano wants to give the vine is certainly Dolcetto di Dogliani Vigna del Pilone: a rich and full-bodied wine, balanced and harmonic with delicate scents of hazelnut and apricot..

Dolcetto di Dogliani Bricco delle Lepri is just as important, named after the vineyard known for being frequently visited by hares (Lepri), and originates from vinification in purity of Dolcetto grapes.
