The Rovero family has, from time immemorial, cultivated the vineyards on the first hills between the Monferrato and the Langhe in the south of Asti which offer best land for the production of great wines.
Their activities are:
- the farm which is worked following to modern organic farming rules (certified by I.C.E.A.)
- the distillery with discontinuous bain-marie stills operated according to old traditions to produce great spirits and liquors
- the agriturism where the products can be tasted
The farm is made up of about 25 hectares of hillside land. About 20 hectares
are vineyards and the remaining 5 are orchards, market gardens and arable land.
Our wines are produced following traditional methods but with the help of modern technology so as to give the consumer the best possible product from our hills of Asti.
Distillation takes place only during the devatting period and use fresh marc. In this way we produce exceptionally fine grappa to delight the palates of even the most refined and discerning connoisseur.
