According to an eonological map dated 1906, the name LENOTTI was already known in the past for the production of the classical wine Bardolino. At that time the farm sold wines exclusively in butts or demijohns. In the following years untill 1968 the farm constantly increased its production of high-quality wines, by making wine from local grapes and supplying the numerous bottlers of the neighbourhood. Since 1968, the farm has been bottling and selling the wines directly with the main goal of supplying our clients with high quality products at competitive prices.
For almost 40 years of continued increased sales, especially in the export markets, the whole production, that in the meantime has been widening the range of wines as well as their quantity, is being sold exclusively in bottle.
From 1971 to 2004 the farm and its facilities have undergone several enlargements(1971-1981-1987-1988-1991-1996-2004/2005). The most important of them was carried out in 2004/2005, when the vinification unit, the ageing unit and the bottling line, were completely renovated and modernized.
At present the farm is run by the family Lenotti. All its members are involved in the running of the business: parents - Giancarlo (oenologist , production manager and facilities supervisor), and Marina (sales manager for the home market), and their sons - Claudio (export manager), and Enrico who works beside his father in the production.
We export more than 90% of our production, and we are seeing growth in the export markets of Germany, Danemark, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland and England, even if our wines are successfully distributed also in markets like Usa, Brasil, Ukraine, Thailand, Arab Emirates, Norway, Sweden, Finland and many others.
We can accommodate each of our customer's individual label requirements as we can supply wines bearing the "LENOTTI" brand name as well as our other registered "names": VILLA ROSA, LOVATTI, CORTE OLIVI, CASAL BUSOL, DI LUIGI, VILLA RILLAGO.
The wine cellar has a capacity of about 25.000 hectolitres made up for the most part of stainless steel tanks. Oak butts and barriques are almost exclusively employed for the ageing and fermentation of the wines "Amarone DOC Classico", "Di Carlo", "Ripasso Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore", "Cabernet Sauvignon DOC Garda" and our great red wines "Massimo" and "Le Olle".
From August 2002 our Company gained the QUALITY CERTIFICATION UNI EN ISO 9001:2000
Over the years we have aimed to improve the quality of our grapes and our wines with constant investment, experimentation and adherence to the very best vinification procedures.
Nowadays our wine cellar offers a range of particularly high quality wines (called "The Selection of Lenotti") produced from carefully selected grapes from our own vineyards. They are: the "Bardolino DOC Classico Vigneto Le Giare", the "Chiaretto Bardolino DOC Classico Vigneto Le Giare", the "Soave DOC Classico Selezione Capocolle", the "Lugana DOC Selezione Le Folaghe", the "Cabernet Sauvignon Selezione Pramonte DOC Garda", the "Le Crosare Ripasso Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore" and our special red wines "Di Carlo", "Massimo" and "Le Olle". In limited production, these wines represent the "jewels" of our wine range specifically aimed at our most discerning customers.
