THE HOUSE At the end of the town, in the upper portion, with a grape pergola on the front and wisteria in the corner of the low wall.
THE CELLAR Seventeenth century, cool and deep, made of solid brick, with a vaulted ceiling and stone floor, it lies under the house and garden.
THE TOWN Neive, located in a party of Italy called the "Langhe" near the town of Alba in the region of Piedmont; the town has a circualr layout, with a tower at the top of the hill and two palace-castles on the sides.
THE VINES Currà with a southwest exposure and dry, white soil, on the old road to Barbaresco. Marcorino with a southeast exposure, on the steep slope of a breezy hill with white, potassium-rich soil.
THE CLIMATE Part maritime, part continental, the vines naturally thrive there.
