Description

Rows of vines so close to the small modern winery that they almost invade it. Careful and loving artisan cultivation, to produce a vintage exclusively for the production of small batches of wine. Alessandro Secchi, a young oenologist and vine-dresser from the Vallagarina, runs this small jewel of a farm situated in the southern part of the valley where the highest concentration of vineyards is found (approximately 12 hectares). Young Alessandro Secchi is also one of the most promising modern oenologists in the Trentino area; in the space of just five years his management has given a definite style to the family vineyards; his constant research and passion for quality make this young man one of the future stars of the wine producing panorama.

The eight labels produced are described in the fact sheets: Variety, Production, Vineyard, Vinification, Organoleptic Features, Matching with Food, and Serving Temperature. Kept under proper conditions Marzemino, Lagrein, and Berillo d'Oro are at their best drunk within three years; Corindone Rosso, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Nero, and Realgar can age much longer. A special mention goes to Corindone Rosso for its typically bright reflections and aroma, made from classical Bordolese grapes, worthy of these lands because the vines exalt so well the special character of the Low Vallagarina, with its traditional vocation for important red wines. Berillo d'Oro is made from excellent grapes fermented and refined in barriques to give a special softness and persistence. Realgar is a blend of two autochthonous wines whose characteristics are freshness, pleasant taste and special fullness. These wines will lead the way along new paths in the world of viticulture and wine-making.
