Siena, Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana

There are many and valid reasons for visiting Siena's territory!

Siena's territory is a treasure that is waiting to be discovered and explored: the wealth of Siena's museums can offer the 14th century dreams of Duccio di Boninsegna and the rich Sienese school that developed from him; and then the works of Iacopo della Quercia, Francesco di Giorgio, Beccafumi, Sodoma. Riches that belong to the entire territory; the harmonious wealth of the Crete Senesi, the mystery of this land, where the Etruscan civilization developed in the past, the wellness and the pleasure of the thermal sources (i.e.: San Casciano dei Bagni, Chianciano Terme, Bagno Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo).
Finally Siena's territory is also rich in excellent and famous all around the world oeno-gastronomic products, such as Pecorino di Pienza cheese, the extra-virgin olive oil DOP "Terre di Siena", Chianina meat, Migliaccio (pan-fried pig's blood mixed with flour and spices), Salumi di Cinta Senese (large salami), Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG wine, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG wine, Vin Santo, Ricciarelli (white, soft, spongy-moist, extremely sweet boat- or spindle-shaped almond pastries covered with white confectioner's sugar, rough in surface and inner texture) and Panforte (heavy, dense fruit cakes in the form of large wheels) from Siena, Mandorlata di Montalcino (round, soft, white pastry) and ... more and more.
