How to reach the Vallo di Diano
BY PLANE
The major Italian and European cities have direct flights to Naples' Capodichino airport (www.gesac.it).
From Naples you can travel by car, train or bus.
BY TRAIN/BUS
Since 1986 the railway stations of the Vallo di Diano are disabled and replaced by buses, run by Ferrovie dello Stato, and directly linked with the stations of Naples and Battipaglia. The closest railway stations are Sicignano degli Alburni (north) and Sapri (south). For info about timetable www.trenitalia.it.
In addition to the buses of the Ferrovie dello Stato, there are also private bus companies that link the towns of the Vallo di Diano with Salerno, Naples and Rome.
BY CAR
The Vallo di Diano is entirely crossed by the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway.
