Donna Sophia By Sal De Riso
Its name is "Donna Sophia", but this woman's name must not mislead you, as we are talking about the last creation of the genial imagination of the pastry chef Salvatore De Riso, entitled to one of the most famous Italian film star, Sophia Loren, and prepared in occasion of the "Honorary Citizenship of Sorrento Award" to the actress of the cult movie "Ciociara".
Sweet oranges of Sorrento and hazelnuts of Giffoni: these are the principal ingredients of the last gluttony sin of the Master Pastry Chef of the Amalfi Coast, already famous for the "pear and ricotta whey cheese cake" and the "lemon delight"; all prepared with only high quality local ingredients.
The final touch ? Chocolate, wild fennel and a sweet layer of whipped cream.
