Holy Wheel of Neglected

The Holy Wheel of Neglected (Esposti) is famous and it gives the most common Neapolitan surname Esposito. The Holy Wheel was a relief institution for neglected children. It was founded in the fourteenth century together with the church; the poor families used to leave newborn babies on it so the nuns would take care of them.
