The most experts can follow a route starting from Torello hamlet towards the small Santuario Mariano dedicated to the Occiano Madonna delle Grazie, at the foot of Nebulano Mount, on which top is located the homonymous castle of Longobard origin, now as a ruin and belonging to Montecorvino Rovella town.
Hence following in parallel the provincial road we can go along, with a little audacity, a network of picturesque paths that, following a parallel line to the horizon, will lead us to Santa Tecla.
Around half-way of our itinerary, from the top of the glade called "Pantano", we can deviate from our path through a path that lead us to the west towards Gallera hamlet.
The walk
Leaving Torello hamlet and following the provincial road towards Pugliano, "a natural balcony on the Piana del Sele" appears to us in all its beauty, so called by Gustavo Strafforello in his work "La Patria".
Crossing the bridge over the Trauso torrent, also called "Ruinella bridge", we find along a path at its foot a water spring with therapeutic properties.
Continuing we see a rock spike that towers over the Pugliano residential area called "u' Piesco", at whose foot there is the Santa Lucia Church, reaching along the homonimous path.
Once we reach Pugliano at first we see the San Bernardino Church and then, after a few hundre meters, surpassing the stairs appearing on our right, the San Michele Arcangelo Church.
Always following the provincial road and just past the Condolizzi hamlet, we find another old hamlet called Gallara, from which side a suitable path for lovers of trekking curls, which it leads to a beautiful glade called "Pantano".
Our walk now leads us to the SS Misericordia Convent, now Montecorvino Pugliano Municipial building.
hence, still mantainig the same direction, we come to the destination of our itinerary, the Santa Tecla hamlet, where the homonymous church is well surely worth a visit.
