The Environmental Art Museum of Giffoni Sei Casali is born of a proposal by prof. Massimo Bignardi, professor of Environmental art and Landscape Architecture at the University of Siena and the architect Giuseppe Di Muro. It represents a new way of thinking about the organization of the community, as active nucleus, and at the same time open the historical center; it offers a sense of future recovering manual skills.
The project started in 2003 and, over the years, many works have been installed in the town, realized by Renato Barisani, Nicola, Salvatore, Angelo Casciello, Carmine Limatola e Vincenzo Frattini,Carmine Calvanese, Vincenzo Caruso,Gerardo Di Fiore, Nello Ferrigno, Wanda Fiscina, Antonio Lo Pinto, Angelomichele Risi, Fës-Vincenzo Ruocco,Marco Fusco, Giuseppe Fusco, Luigi Vollaro, Bernd Zimmer and Annibale Oste.
