Located on the eastern side of the Paganella plateu, Cavedago is a small town in the province of Trento, consisting of a series of "masi" (farms) and crossed by the Lavesol river and the Brits river. Surrounded by woods and meadows, it enjoys a superb view of the Val di Non and the Brenta Dolomites. Set near Andalo, Molveno and Fai della Paganella, in a central position of Adamello Brenta Natural Park, Cavedago is the ideal starting point for interesting excursions along the mountain paths of the area. In winter time, indeed, it is possible to use the nearby sporting center of the town of Andalo.
It has about 500 inhabitants and it is characterized by a strong rural aspect, although tourism industry is really developed in recent times. Some elements testify the ancient origins of Cavedago, such as the Church of San Tommaso, with late-Medieval frescoes, and the three arches of the bridge on the Lavesol river.
